“Kimoyo” means “the language of the heart” in Swahili. We chose this name for our organization because it represents our mission of reaching out to communities, both here in the Roanoke Valley and in Africa. It is the mission of Kimoyo LTD.:

- To create an appreciation within the Roanoke Valley for the importance of cultural diversity through education programs

- To establish and maintain international partnerships for self-empowerment that address health and economic issues.
